You can insert clip art or picture in Word, Excel, or PowerPoint and then convert the object to a SmartArt graphic by clicking the Convert to SmartArt Graphic button in the Picture Styles group on the Picture Tools Format tab and selecting a SmartArt graphic layout from the gallery.
After conversion, you can key text in the text box. You can also edit the SmartArt graphic with buttons on the SmartArt Tools Design and Format tabs. For example, you can change the SmartArt colors, insert shapes or bullets, apply shape fill or outline colors, and other editing.
